How to paint a Dark Forest in soft pastels with Jeanne Cotter

This 2-hour art class takes you step by step through the process of painting a darkened forest with just a few highlights to capture a moody scene. The first 15 minutes of the class is a charcoal drawing of the reference image with focus on tone, shapes and composition. The second part is painting in colour with soft pastels and includes a combination of drawing with pastels with a focus on catching the light.
