Description
This 2 hours and 20 minute art class takes you step by step through the process of painting from a bird’s eye view. The first 15 minutes of the class is a charcoal drawing of the reference image with focus on tone, shapes and composition. The second part is painting in colour with soft pastels and includes a combination of drawing and blending the pastels with different techniques for each mark-making process with a focus on catching the light. This class is ideal for students who have been painting with pastels before or those who may use other mediums and want to try soft pastels. Thanks to Adam Lange for the photo.
