This 2 hour class takes you step by step through the process of drawing and painting three seagulls standing in the surf. The first part of the class includes a 10 minute charcoal sketch of the reference image with discussion about tone, shape and drawing. The rest of the class includes a ‘paint with me’ process using soft pastels to achieve shapes, light, movement, texture and shadow. This class is ideal for students who have been painting with pastels before or those who want to try soft pastels. Class is unedited and raw.
